Krsitin Hodge
I am a lifelong northern Indiana resident. I graduated from DeKalb High School in Waterloo, Indiana in 1984. In 1986 I received my Associates Degree from Ivy Technical College, Ft. Wayne IN.
Recently, I have worked in government assisted housing until coming to my current position in the accounting department at Concordia Theological Seminary.
I am a life time member of Zion Lutheran Church, Corunna, IN. I am a member of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League, and have served as Treasurer for the Board of Directors of both the church’s Lutheran Women’s Missionary League and also the local Chamber of Commerce.
I have been married for 12 years. I enjoy pets and traveling.
I am preparing to serve on a short term mission trip to Guatemala City, Guatemala and am also preparing for a short term mission trip to Sudan, Africa.
My reason for serving on this Board of Directors is twofold. I have personally witnessed the problems families experience when a soldier returns from war and their medical and emotional issues are not given the attention they need. More importantly, I believe that a Christian ministry focused on providing these soldiers and their families with the care and assistance that is indicated is the most effective means of providing assistance. I have full faith that this ministry will remain focused on doing just that, and am honored to be a part of it.
