Welcome Home

Home is a place where you can relax

picture of a foot “Welcome Home” – a simple statement that for some veterans it means all of the above; while for others it is simply a different type of conflict. Before you were deployed you were trained with a variety of weapons and rehearsed different scenarios, but now there seems to be a whole new type of conflict, and you don’t have the correct training or arsenal to handle it.

Beginning March 1, 2010, we have a new office location. Click Here to view the directions.

LMVFM is here to help. We know and understand the booby traps that our minds play; we’ve been hit by the IEDs (Inability to Explain Difficulties); the flashbacks; nightmares; drinking to numb the pain; the fear of the night and the prayer that the Lord would let us not wake up; and the list grows.

We offer help in identifying and assisting veterans, family members, and congregations with the various issues and needs that many returning soldiers display. LMVFM is different than many counseling service organizations in that we make use of God’s strength, mercy and forgiveness in the application of human care. We approach healing from a Christian and Lutheran perspective.
