Haber"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Donald Haber<\/h2>\n<p>Donald Haber, 82, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, March, 9, 2021. Born in Ft. Wayne, IN on August 27, 1938. He was a son of \u00a0Frank and Dorothy (Wehrly) Haber. He married Patricia (Holloway) Haber, she preceded him in death. \u00a0Donald was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked selflessly as a union carpenter for Strahm as the \u201cFloor Guy.\u201d \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0He was a member of St. Patrick Arcola Catholic Church and the Lions Club. He enjoyed fishing, metal detecting, working in his vegetable garden and spending time with his family.<\/p>\n<p>He \u00a0is survived by his daughter, Julie (David) Slater, Sons,\u00a0 \u00a0Jerry (Lorrie) Haber, and Jeff (Michelle) Haber, \u00a0three grandchildren, Britny and Brooke, and Trevan Parish and two great grandchildren, Jaxton and Harper, brother, Bill (Cyndie) Haber, four sisters, Margaret Williams, Janice Hartman, Susan (Larry) Benzinger, and Mary Trzienski.<\/p>\n<p>He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife Patricia Haber.<\/p>\n<p>Funeral service is Monday, March 15, 2021 \u00a0at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, calling hours will be 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m.\u00a0 prior to the \u00a0funeral service.
