Donald Haber
Donald Haber, 82, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, March, 9, 2021. Born in Ft. Wayne, IN on August 27, 1938. He was a son of Frank and Dorothy (Wehrly) Haber. He married Patricia (Holloway) Haber, she preceded him in death. Donald was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked selflessly as a union carpenter for Strahm as the “Floor Guy.” He was a member of St. Patrick Arcola Catholic Church and the Lions Club. He enjoyed fishing, metal detecting, working in his vegetable garden and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his daughter, Julie (David) Slater, Sons, Jerry (Lorrie) Haber, and Jeff (Michelle) Haber, three grandchildren, Britny and Brooke, and Trevan Parish and two great grandchildren, Jaxton and Harper, brother, Bill (Cyndie) Haber, four sisters, Margaret Williams, Janice Hartman, Susan (Larry) Benzinger, and Mary Trzienski.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife Patricia Haber.
Funeral service is Monday, March 15, 2021 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, calling hours will be 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Memorial donations to James Cancer Hospital for Leukemia research 460 W. 10th Ave. Columbus, Ohio 43210
